Comfort Keepers is located in Bloomfield, CT since 2003 and provides non-medical in-home care throughout many towns of Greater Hartford CT - East and West of the River, including Avon, Bloomfield, Canton, Granby, Glastonbury, Manchester, Simsbury, South Windsor, Vernon, Windsor, West Hartford and more.
We call our employee caregivers "Comfort Keepers" because each day they "Keep" clients living safely in the "Comfort" of their own Home...
Comfort Keepers caregivers are our employees and are residents of our local community. As employees, Comfort Keepers are bonded, insured, background checked,covered by Worker's Compensation and are verified for their eligibility to work in the U.S. Comfort Keepers coordinates employee payroll, with all applicable taxes paid.
Client services are flexible, ranging from the 2 hour minimum through live-in care. Caregiver arrival and departure at the client home is monitored and documented through a telephone time clock system.
Comfort Keepers office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30-4:00pm. Comfort Keepers is on-call 24/7/365 and our main telephone is answered live by management staff including evenings, weekends and holidays 860-242-7739.
The R.N./Client Care Coordinator participates in the client assessment assessment, helps to develop the written plan of care, supervises the caregivers and communicates with families on an on-going basis.
